Collection in memory of Bob Shepherd raises £1,385 for charity
THE nation’s heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research has received a cheque for £1,385 following a collection at the Mitsubishi Motors Dealer Conference in memory of Bob Shepherd, co-founder and Dealer Principal of Station Garage Mitsubishi.
Following Bob’s sudden passing from a heart attack in February and his colleagues and friends wishing to remember him with a charity donation, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) will use the money to continue its pioneering research that has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
The cheque was presented to Sarah Standing, Fundraising Manager – Gloucestershire & Bristol British Heart Foundation, by Lance Bradley, Managing Director, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, at Mitsubishi Motors’ Cirencester headquarters.
Mitsubishi Motors would like to thank everyone who donated to Bob’s collection at the dealer conference. The amount raised just from those in the room underlines how highly Bob was regarded by his friends and peers.
