Mitsubishi keeps essential services moving during Storm Emma
MITSUBISHI Motors in the UK and Luscombe Mitsubishi have helped important local services get a grip on tackling the effects of Storm Emma.
Cotswold Police is enjoying the surefooted, go-anywhere capability of a Mitsubishi Shogun and L200 pickup after Mitsubishi Motors stepped in with the loan of the demonstration vehicles as the ‘beast from the east’ wrecks havoc on the UK’s roads.
The rugged all-wheel drive Mitsubishis will enable Mitsubishi Motors’ local police force to help reach people in need throughout the rural communities of Bourton, Chipping Campden, Cirencester, Fairford, Lechlade, Moreton, Stow and Tetbury.
Luscombe Mitsubishi in Leeds has also loaned an all-wheel drive Mitsubishi to help Leeds Community Health Trust make important home visits during the treacherous driving conditions and harsh weather. Until the dealership came forward, the Trust had cancelled all home visits but with the aid of the advanced S-AWC all-wheel drive system and the dedicated ‘snow’ setting of the Eclipse Cross 4, patients are now receiving the vital care they need.
