As part of the new deal the famed ‘Cherry and Whites’ will benefit from an enhanced package from Mitsubishi Motors. The brand’s famous three-diamond logo is already a familiar sight on the club’s match and training shirts, replica kit and around Kingsholm Stadium, while ever-increasing numbers of Gloucester Rugby’s players and staff are choosing Mitsubishi vehicles.

Lance Bradley, Managing Director, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “We have enjoyed a tremendous relationship with Gloucester Rugby over the years and we are exceptionally pleased to continue to be their main partner at a time which is very exciting for both the club and the Mitsubishi brand.

“Rugby is a massive focus for us and both the game and Gloucester Rugby are the perfect fit for Mitsubishi Motors. As our local club, support for Gloucester Rugby runs deep in our business and with the side regularly seen on national television, the partnership continues to be a fantastic platform to promote our brand to an audience that runs into millions.”

“We are now in our third season working with Mitsubishi Motors as a main partner, but they have actually been involved with and supported Gloucester Rugby for over ten years.”

He continued: “Both Gloucester Rugby and Mitsubishi Motors are ambitious organisations and strive to be successful, and we are excited about helping each other achieve our mutual objectives going forward. They are a great, innovative organisation and brand to work with, and we look forward to building on the strong working relationship we have with them in the years to come.

“We can’t thank them and all their staff enough for their ongoing faith and support to the club.”

Mitsubishi Motors’ backing of Gloucester Rugby forms part of the brand’s support of rugby at all levels, rising from grassroots all the way up to international. The brand has been a sponsor of England Rugby since 2016 and this year has become an official partner of Scottish Rugby. Additionally, it also holds partnerships with Edinburgh Rugby and Salford Red Devils.
