Shogun and L200 impress thousands of visitors at BBC Countryfile Live
MITSUBISHI vehicles once again proved to be in hot demand at BBC Countryfile Live.
As a main sponsor of the event, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK returned to the Blenheim Palace-based show to host its immensely popular Off-Road Experience.
Over the four-day event, more than 3,000 people were given an eye-opening ride around the Experience’s short but demanding course by 4×4 driving experts.
Visitors could choose from being a passenger in a variety of L200 or Shogun models, the Mitsubishis impressing passengers with their ability to traverse the rugged terrain of the iconic venue’s woodland.
Away from the Off-Road Experience, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK had an equally strong presence in the main show field. Combining its latest vehicles with iconic Mitsubishis from its past, the brand captured the crowds’ attention with an eye-catching stand that showcased such vehicles as the limited edition L200 Barbarian SVP and the striking 1980s Starion.
During the event, which celebrated everything that people love about the countryside, thousands of show-goers visited the stand with the Mitsubishi Motors team on hand to advise on the manufacturer’s extensive vehicle range.
Following the weekend, Mitsubishi Motors’ Event Manager Angela Osman, said: “Following the successful debut last year, Countryfile Live provided a great platform to showcase our vehicles. We were delighted to welcome thousands of visitors to the Off-Road Experience who were impressed at how the Shogun and L200 tackled the tough terrain. We were also thrilled with the many visitors to our expo stand and their interest in our heritage vehicles – a special feature to celebrate the brand’s centenary year.”
