JENNINGS Mitsubishi is the driving force behind a sponsorship deal set up to support a local rugby club.

The Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough, Teesside, has agreed to supply kit for Stockton Rugby Club’s team of Under-6 to Under-17 Junior Coaches at the Grangefield Ground.

Paul Beadling, Franchise Manager at Jennings Mitsubishi, is no stranger to the sport or the Club – having previously played as a full-back and competed in many successful League and Cup competitions in his youth.

Paul said; “We are delighted to be able to support the Club with the sponsorship deal, which coincides with Mitsubishi Motors in the UK being the official Performance Partners to England Rugby, and look forward to further developing our partnership in the future.”

The official handover of the kit at the Club came as quite a nostalgic experience for Paul who got to see many familiar faces and members of the team who he competed with when he was younger.

“Over the years, the Club has expanded and continues to grow today with many opportunities available to players of all ages – I have very many fond memories from my past when I played as a full-back.”

Keith Kelly, Secretary at Stockton Rugby Club, said; “We are absolutely delighted and extremely grateful that Jennings Mitsubishi has agreed to support the Club, and we look forward to what we hope will be a long and fruitful relationship for both parties.

“The significant investment from them is further evidence of our continuing partnership with local businesses and the wider community.”
