Kate Humble meets fans at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials
BROADCASTER Kate Humble took time out at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials 2017 today to sign autographs and meet fans of her television shows.
Kate, a Mitsubishi Motors in the UK Brand Ambassador, spent over an hour chatting to visitors on the Mitsubishi Motors brand experience stand. The renowned wildlife programme presenter and farm owner was also signing copies of her book, “Friend For Life”, which charts the incredible relationship between humans and dogs.
In addition, during her day at the legendary three-day equestrian event, Kate and her four-year-old Welsh Sheepdog, Teg, were filmed for Badminton TV. The short video saw the pair walk the famous cross country course with a focus on how canine-friendly the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials is.
During her walk, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV-driver Kate met Course Designer Eric Winter and was given an insight into the painstaking work that goes into building the world-class cross country course, even down to the positioning of fences so that those looking to capture the action enjoy the very best photo opportunities.
On her visit to the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, Kate said: “I adore Badminton, I’ve been coming since my childhood. I grew up with horses and they really had an influence on my interest in animals and wildlife. There’s nothing quite like this event, it’s so friendly and you’re here with like-minded people and some of the most beautiful animals on the planet.”
Julia Evans, from near Swindon, took her daughter, Scarlett, two, to meet the star: “We love Badminton and watching Countryfile, and it’s really nice to meet Kate. Scarlett likes watching all the lambs as we’ve our own ones on our farm.”
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet other Mitsubishi Motors in the UK brand ambassadors, including esteemed riders Mary and Emily King, celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager, and England Rugby star Dylan Hartley.
